Catching maxi skirt, stars as lead chic magazine bash

She has had almost 20 years of modelling experience under her belt, so it's safe to say that Adriana Lima knows a thing or two about looking good.

The 33-year-old model was one of the honourees attending Us Weekly's Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2014 event on Wednesday night.

She was one of the 25 actors, actresses, models, and television personalities named on the list and recognized at the event held at the Diamond Horseshoe in the Paramount Hotel.



And Adriana definitely did not disappoint as she wore a sexy low-cut black halter top tucked into a blue, pink, black and white maxi skirt.

She accesorised the look with large dangling earrings and rings on her fingers contrasted with natural complimentary make-up.

The Victoria's Secret Angel had her long dark hair split down the middle and tied back in an elegant ponytail.


The Brazilian beauty even had fun with some of the photographers, blowing a kiss during her arrival.

She was joined at the bash by fellow honorees Lily Aldridge, actress Jamie Chung, Today Show host Matt Lauer, and blogger Emily Weiss.

Orange Is The New Black actresses Taryn Manning and Dascha Polanco were also at the event, both looking eclectic with Manning sporting a red pencil skirt and a long sleeved floral crop top while Dascha sported a leather sleeveless top and patterned skirt.


Along with style and beauty, Adriana is also one of the highest earners in the modelling world - last month Forbes tying with Doutzen Kroes for second place on the list of highest-paid supermodels with both earning $8 million last year.

The list - which saw Gisele Bundchen land at the top for the eighth straight year with earnings of $47mil - took into account income from cosmetics, endorsements, advertising and fragrance deals.

While Lima's career is as busy as ever; in May she announced that she and former NBA player Marko Jaric were splitting.


The couple released a joint statement that read: 'After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage.

'We are grateful to be the parents of two incredible young daughters that we will continue to co-parent. We would greatly appreciate your respect for our family's privacy as we begin this delicate next chapter for all members of our family.'

The couple eloped in Wyoming back in 2009 after three years of dating and are parents to their daughters, Valentina, six, and Sienna, almost two.
